aSPAthecary Salon and Spa is committed to providing a relaxing atmosphere. The following Salon and Spa Policies are intended to enhance everyone’s experience with us.
Please arrive 10- 15 minutes in advance of salon and spa treatments.
Services will begin and end on time as a courtesy to the next guest.
As a courtesy, we text 2 days ahead to confirm all appointments. You are invited to telephone, as well, prior to your appointment to confirm exact times, services, and ask any questions you may have.
We understand that sometimes being late is unavoidable. However, depending on circumstances, we may be forced to shorten or reschedule your service.
Clients who arrive late will be charged in full for their scheduled session, but will receive an abbreviated, pro-rated session. For example, if you scheduled an hour session and arrive 15 minutes late, you will be charged for that hour session but will only receive 45 minutes of treatment for that session, including consultation and changing time.
We have reserved time and space especially for you and REQUIRE 24 hours notice for all appointments. If less than the required notice is given, we will charge a cancellation fee 20% for services. . If you no-show any appointment we will charge your account half of the booked service.
We do send text message confirmations two days prior to your appointment and ask you do confirm your appointment via text. If you do need to cancel or reschedule, you can call us at 215-538-0555, we now have the capability to start a chat to change or reschedule your appointments from the text confirmation number. This number is unique to aSPAthecary and you can save it. Feel free to chat with us about your appointment, changes, cancellations, when you arrive at the salon, or to ask anything! If your appointment is not confirmed by the day before your appointment, we will call you to confirm your appointment and if you do not reach out to us, we reserve the right to remove/cancel your appointment for other clients and we will consider you a no show and charge your account half of your service.
We are changing our cancellation policy in 2021
For new color clients, Lasio keratin treatments and appointments longer than 3 hours, we do require a deposit of 20% of your service at the time of your consultation. This deposit will be deducted from your service total at time of actual appointment. If you cancel your appointment in less than 24 hours or no-show your appointment you forfeit your deposit and will need to leave another deposit for your re-scheduled appointment.
aSPAthecary requires 48 hours notice for group and package appointment cancellations/rescheduling and will incur a charge of 40% of the total services, if cancelled within 48 hours of the group appointment.
A credit card is required to reserve appointments at our discretion.
We are constantly expanding our services to bring you the latest and greatest. Although we make every effort to keep our website and spa menu updated, please note that prices and services are subject to change at any time.
Prices do not include gratuities.
18% gratuity will be assessed for spa packages, bridal parties, keratin treatments, hair extensions and group parties.
aSPAthecary accepts Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express, aSPAthecary gift cards,bank debit cards, and cash.
aSPAthecary gift cards are to be used for services or products only and tips will not be issued from the gift card balance unless noted at time of purchase. Gift cards are not redeemable if reported as lost or stolen. Donation certificates are non-transferable.
All service sales and gift card sales are final.
Retail items can only be refunded if unused, in its original packaging, and presented with a receipt within 14 days of purchase. In some situations, a restocking fee will be charged.
Refunds will be issued in Store credit or exchange only. Store credit must be used the same day as the return.
At aSPAthecary’s discretion, some non-receipted returns accompanied by a photo ID may qualify to receive a gift card for the lowest selling price. All returns are subject to system verification.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS POLICY:
Please notify our Spa Coordinator before reserving your treatments if you have high blood pressure, special physical concerns, diabetes, or are pregnant.
All salon and spa guests will be asked to complete a brief questionnaire upon check-in, designed with your well being in mind.New Clients: prior to your appointment you will receive a email link to our new client form and we would appreciate filling out all sections for any service booked or possibly booked in the future to be completed in full. Any client refusing to fill out our forms will be denied services. They are necessary to provide us with important information used to provide you the best services and are designed to screen for contra indications that may be harmful to aSPAthecary staff, employees and you as clients.
AGE REQUIREMENT POLICY:
Spa guests must be 18 years of age or older to receive treatments without the approval or accompaniment of an adult.
We do believe that every client has the right to privacy and confidentiality. The conversations you have with your stylist or technician will remain confidential, as will your health history forms.
Client lists and email lists are confidential. We do not share our client lists with outside companies.
OTHER TIPS FOR YOUR VISIT:
Please do not bring valuables with you; we are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Please respect the right to a quiet atmosphere for all guests. We ask that you refrain from talking loudly and that you turn off all cell phones.
Parking is available on Broad Street at the meters, the triangle in the center by the fountain is 2 hour maximum except Weekends and there is a lot behind aSPAthecary on Apple Street but space is limited and you will need to follow the alley on the left of the building to approach the front entranc
